Welcome to My Travel Blog!
I'm so glad you're here! First I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I appreciate your support and knowing that there is at least one person that cares to read what I have to say.
I shared my first blog post last week, 10 Best Places to Travel to in 2025, but this week I wanted to share some context on how I got here in the first place. If you don't know me yet, hi, my name is Jessica or Jess. As a long time travel lover I have always enjoyed exploring new places, but most importantly documenting it so that I remember the memories and the time I had for years to come.
Instead of keeping these experiences to myself, I decided to share my insights on travel and my journey by providing tips to those that are interested. If you're following me on Instagram and TikTok (@jessica.greauxx) you've seen my posts where I provide inspiration or insight on travel. My goal is to inspire women to travel solo, encourage people to discover somewhere new and educate everyone on how to do so even on a budget.
This blog is meant to inspire you on solo or budget travel so that you don't miss out on seeing the world. While also giving you ideas on where you should go and what places to discover next; whether a new country, restaurant or activity.
Travel Doesn't Have to be Expensive
For me, travel is a way to learn and grow through real life experiences. You could read all the books ever created on travel, cultures and different countries, but you will never truly understand a place until you've been there to experience it for yourself.
The first word that comes to mind when someone says travel is (most likely): expensive. There is an unrealistic stigma around traveling and not being able to experience what life has to offer due to funds.
While you do need money in life for everything, you don't need as much as you think to experience something or somewhere new. Leave a comment if you've not done something because you thought you couldn't afford it (then let me know if you're ready to change that mindset)!
Solo Travel is for Everyone
Traveling as a girl (ALONE) can be scary, the idea alone is daunting, but as someone who's done it I can tell you it isn't as bad as you think.
I am a huge advocate for not letting other people stop you from doing the things you want to do. Don't let the fact that nobody else can come stop you from taking the trip. If you have to, do it alone. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
In this blog I will teach you how to do so safely and share my solo travel stories with you for guidance. Comment if you're ready to take your first solo trip!
